The main reasons for carbonization of hot melt adhesive and even gel are as follows: the temperature of the glue box is too high, the temperature control fails, the actual temperature is lower than the displayed temperature, or the temperature is much higher than the displayed temperature. The glue layer on the surface of the hot melt adhesive box carbonizes, and the thermal stability of the glue itself is poor. The hot melt adhesive stays in the glue box for a long time.
There are two different types of hot melt adhesives present in the glue box of the fully automatic embossing machine. For the above reasons, it is necessary to achieve the following aspects in the daily glue use process: the glue temperature is set according to the specified technical parameter values, and when there are abnormal phenomena such as carbonization, the temperature control and actual temperature difference should be checked. The lid of the glue box should be closed at any time to avoid contact between the high-temperature hot melt adhesive on the surface and fresh air, accelerate oxidation, and when using glue in small amounts for a long time, The amount of hot melt adhesive added in the glue box should not be too much. It can be maintained by adding it multiple times between one-third and half. After cleaning the hot melt adhesive that has been repeatedly heated for a long time, replace it with a new one. Do not use two different types of hot melt adhesive.
The adhesive lining fabric of the fully automatic embossing machine is made by evenly spreading hot melt adhesive on the surface of the fabric. When using, cut the adhesive lining fabric into the desired shape and size, and heat press the side coated with hot melt adhesive to bond with the back of other fabric materials (fabrics). It is lined in the inner layer of clothing, serving as the skeleton of the clothing, simplifying the clothing processing process and time, making the clothing have various effects such as lightness, aesthetics, comfort, shape preservation, washability, and wear resistance.
The general requirements for hot melt adhesive in lining fabric processing are colorless and odorless, soft texture, fast adhesion, dry and wet washing resistance, adhesive that cannot affect the fabric, and light resistance. Various types of hot melt adhesives can be used for lining fabric processing, and almost all types of hot melt adhesives can be used. The most commonly used are ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) hot melt adhesives, polyamide hot melt adhesives, and high-pressure polyethylene (HDPE) hot melt adhesive powder, and the hot melt adhesives and processing methods used for different purposes are also different.
