　　The cleaning principle of ultrasonic cleaning is mainly due to the introduction of ultrasonic vibration in the cleaning solution, so that the cleaning solution has a "cavitation effect". The strong mechanical force generated by the "cavitation" will peel off the mechanical impurities and various dirt attached to the workpiece. Ultrasonic cleaning not only has the effect of cavitation, but also accompanied by a more complex variety of physical and chemical effects.

　　The so-called "cavitation" refers to the sparse dense state when the alternating sound pressure of ultrasonic waves propagates in the liquid. In the dense state, the liquid is subjected to positive pressure (about a few atmospheres), and in the sparse state, the liquid is subjected to tensile pressure, that is, negative pressure, the general liquid contains a certain amount of gas, in the sparse state, the bubble growth, and absorb more of the gas decomposed in the liquid; When recompressed, the bubble continues to shrink, and in this process, the movement of liquid particles is inversely proportional to the decreasing bubble radius. Therefore, when the radius goes to zero, the speed of mass motion should theoretically go to infinity. If this rapid movement suddenly stops when the bubble is closed, the kinetic energy concentrated in the tiny volume is released, partly into heat and partly into compression energy. At this point, a spherical shock wave is propagated outward from the center of the closed bubble. At this point there are thousands of atmospheres of pressure, and if the ultrasonic frequency is 20KHz, this cavitation occurs 20,000 times per second. Therefore, it is not difficult to understand that ultrasound has a strong cleaning ability.
