　　1. Automatic control of cotton feeding

　　The principle of automatic cotton feeding control is to timely feed back the ginning current to the microcomputer based on the density of the seed cotton roll. After a series of data processing, the voltage signal is sent to the frequency converter. Through frequency conversion speed regulation, the speed of the feeding motor is controlled to adjust the feeding amount. As the density of the seed cotton roll increases, the pressure on the serrations increases, and the fiber content in the seed cotton roll increases, thereby increasing the hook and pull force of the serrations on the seed cotton roll, accelerating the movement of the seed cotton roll and improving yield. However, when the density of the cotton roll is too high, its motion resistance will greatly increase, which will actually hinder the operation of the cotton roll and not be conducive to increasing production.

　　2. The extension of the saw blade in the work box

　　The extension of the saw blade refers to the extension length of the saw blade measured perpendicular to the surface of the rib arc at a distance of 100mm from the working point of the embossed rib along the surface of the rib arc. During the embossing process of the embossing machine, the extension of the saw blade directly affects the yield of the embossing. Generally speaking, increasing the extension of the saw blade increases the effective working teeth of the saw blade in the work box, and the ability of the saw blade to hook and pull fibers is enhanced, which helps to increase production.

　　3. Prevent severe friction

　　During the processing of seed cotton, due to the friction between the movement of seed cotton and lint and the processing equipment, strands and knots are often formed. The most prone area to produce strands and neps is the working box of the serrated ginning machine. Therefore, we should conduct regular maintenance to ensure the smoothness of the saw blades (including serrations), ribs, and cotton roll boxes.
