  The CNC roller bed of the embossing machine generally uses a grating ruler as the feedback component in the longitudinal (Z) and transverse (X) directions for full closed-loop control. The FIDEC CNC system has high requirements for mechanical accuracy and grid ruler installation accuracy. The mechanical accuracy (rigidity, clearance, back clearance, etc.) of CNC roller beds objectively exists, and the arbitrary installation of grating rulers often leads to faults in the FIDEC CNC system. Directly affects the normal working reliability of CNC lathes. The FIDEC CNC system has multiple parameters and a long debugging cycle.

  This article presents a CNC roller bed suitable for rough and precision machining of cast iron, steel, and non-ferrous metal parts, using high-speed steel and hard alloy tools. This CNC lathe can complete cylindrical turning, end face turning, groove cutting, and external curved surface turning. Taper or other special processing requirements can also be selected for new opening and repairing roller tables, completing precision and rough turning.

  The CNC system is FIDEC0i-TF, with the maximum diameter of the workpiece being cut φ 1600mm, with a cutting length of 600mm and a mass of 40t. Longitudinal sliding box by Nako α IF40/3000FIN servo motor drive. The longitudinal sliding box is a hydraulic automatic clearance double blade sliding box. The horizontal slide is driven by a ball screw and decelerated by a first stage gear, which is controlled by FIDEC α IF40/3000FIN servo motor drive.

  2. Analyze the reasons in depth.

  Due to the length of the longitudinal sliding box transmission chain, the effective measurement length of the longitudinal grating ruler is 6640mm, which directly affects the mechanical accuracy of many parts, such as the accuracy of gears and other components, bearings and shafts, installation accuracy, clearance, etc. The reason is that when the circuit is completely closed, there may be obvious vibrations and various fault alarms in the longitudinal direction. In order to better analyze the reasons and finally address the problem, an interferometer is selected to detect the mechanical installation accuracy, so that the mechanical installation accuracy meets the accuracy requirements of the CNC rolling CNC lathe. The CNC system parameters are optimized, and the grounding of the CNC lathe, the CNC system panel, power amplifier, and separation detection unit are done well to eliminate general interference problems. Use an instrument that detects HEIDENHAIN grating rulers to detect signals such as HEIDENHAIN grating rulers. After all the above work is qualified, the mechanical vibration and alarm problems still cannot be solved. At this point, the machine is changed to a semi closed loop and can operate stably.
