In the ultrasonic system of the ultrasonic sewing machine used in clothing machinery, vibration waves are generally emitted on a plane. At the same time, ultrasonic clothing machinery exists as a planar wave source, while ultrasonic molds vary according to various needs. Therefore, how to make the ultrasonic mold design complete and accept the relative motion of the machine is an important goal of ultrasonic mold design. Next, we will describe using flat molds and cylindrical molds respectively.

The flat mold in the ultrasonic system of the ultrasonic sewing machine: As for the vertical linear motion mold, due to the small size of the fabric, it is generally on a medium 07mm or 2-flame 101mm flat surface, and the design requirements are not very high. It only needs to be ground flat on a surface grinder.

For molds that move horizontally in straight lines, due to their large surface area (not exceeding 108X600mm), a certain balance is required when designing patterns. When mold 1 moves horizontally directly, due to the horn only cutting the upper contour line of the collar without support at the lower part, the horn will tilt, the edge of the mold will be unbalanced, and the mold will be fragile. Add some process lines at the top and bottom (which must not affect the production of the collar), so that the horn can move smoothly and horizontally on the mold plane, balancing the force on the mold.

The cylindrical mold in the ultrasonic system of the ultrasonic sewing machine: The surface design of the cylindrical mold also needs to consider the arrangement balance, which is aimed at the balance when the cylinder does not tilt and roll.

In order to ensure that in case the process line wears out the horn surface without affecting the wave trimming, the process line should be slightly higher than the vertex of the wave line.

Secondly, when designing, it is necessary to consider that the punching holes should not be too dense, especially the cutting points on the same cylindrical busbar should not be too dense. In an ultrasonic sewing machine, there are both perforations and indentations on the mold of the ultrasonic system, commonly known as "double eyelids" in the industry. Special attention should be paid to the design, which must be based on the thickness of the fabric. In general, in design, the height difference between the perforated and embossed section lines is h, where h=1/2 of the fabric thickness (referring to the thickness under pressure), and accurate design and manufacturing are necessary. If the height difference is too small, perforation may occur instead of embossing, or the embossing line may grab onto the fabric, making it impossible for the cylindrical mold to roll. The high-speed difference is too large, and the embossed lines cannot withstand vibrations, resulting in no embossed effect.
