(1) Increase the amount of adhesive applied. If the amount of adhesive applied is too small or some of the substrate surfaces are not coated with adhesive, it will be difficult for the two substrates to adhere during composite. We can choose a mesh roller with deeper mesh holes, or increase the amount of adhesive applied to the substrate surface by increasing the pressure on the rubber roller and reducing the contact pressure between the scraper and the mesh roller. For some plastic film substrates, corona treatment can be carried out before coating to cause surface fuzzing and improve the substrate's ability to adsorb adhesive, thereby increasing the amount of adhesive applied on its surface.
(2) Choosing a suitable drying temperature that is too high or too low can affect the adhesion strength of the composite film. When the coating substrate is dried, if it is heated too high or steamed at high temperatures, the surface of the adhesive will be carbonized, thereby damaging the adhesive's bonding ability. If the drying temperature is too low, the manufacturer's information indicates that the adhesive is not fully cured, the adhesive's viscosity is poor, and the composite is not strong. After a period of time, bubbles are easily formed in the composite film, which can damage the composite quality of the product. Of course, we can choose a digital printing machine with high temperature resistance and good cooking resistance adhesive to adapt to higher temperature drying, such as using polyurethane adhesive.
(3) Properly increasing the composite pressure, excessive composite pressure of the composite machine or uneven pressure at both ends of the composite roller can cause wrinkles on the surface of the composite film, forming empty tunnels at the wrinkles after composite, which affects the bonding strength of the finished product. Properly increasing the composite pressure is beneficial for improving the bonding strength of the composite. In addition, in order to improve the bonding effect and quality of the composite film, dairy packaging should try to avoid foreign objects, dust and other debris adhering to the adhesive or substrate composite surface. When concluding, carefully observe the various problems and malfunctions that occur during the production process, and use the above methods reasonably to troubleshoot. When multiple problems or malfunctions occur, using a single method may not be able to balance them.
