In principle, roller corrosion technology is a treatment technique that removes metal from the metal surface by utilizing the erosion effect on the metal surface. The roller etching technology can be divided into three types: electrolytic etching, chemical etching, and photographic etching.

　　Chemical etching utilizes a drug-resistant coating to remove etching erosion, focusing on the desired embossing roller area.

　　Photoetching technology is the process of evenly forming a layered photosensitive and drug resistant coating on the surface of the embossing roller. Through the original image negative, it is exposed to ultraviolet light, and then subjected to imaging processing to form the desired shape of the drug resistant coating layer. Then, the acid or alkaline solution of the etching bath produces chemical or electrochemical corrosion on the exposed part to dissolve the metal.
